Nr. Lyngvig Lighthouse and natural history exhibition
Nr. Lyngvig lighthouse is the newest lighthouse on the West coast, built in 1906. There is a 3 kilometre long footpath in the 300 hectare protected
area around the lighthouse. There is a natural history exhibition beside the lighthouse. |

The Fishery House and West Coast Aquarium
A contemporary museum that portrays fisheries in the past, today and in the future. There is an exhibition of, among other things, lifejackets,
fish auctions, sluice building and costal defences. There is also an aquarium containing fish found in Ringkøbing Fjord and the North Sea. |

Troldbjerg
The signal mast outside the Fishery House in Hvide Sande which was used to tell fishermen about the state of the water-level in the approaches. The
signals were used from 1939 to 1989. At the end of the Second World War the Germans built two bunkers on Troldbjerg, an observation post and a
personnel room. Troldbjerg is very handicapped-friendly. |

Abelines Farm
Nature and culture around a 125 year old receiver of wrecks’ house on Holmlands Klit. See how the receiver of wrecks lived and experience the old
crafts of amber polishing, net making, wool spinning and carding, brush-making, lace-making, willow weaving and much more. |

The Tipper and Værn Meadows
This large protected area with the Værn huts, primitive hunting hides on Store Mjøl, Lille Mjøl and Grønbjerg is one of Denmark’s most important
breeding and resting localities for water fowl. There are birds to observe all the year round and Skjern-Egvad Museum arranges guided tours there. The
Tipper Reservation is open to the public on Sunday mornings. |

Fahl Inn
built in 1856, is a place where the coffee is served in the cosy well preserved saloon bars. In the inn’s outbuildings an exhibition of the natural
and cultural history of the local area is to be found. |

Bork Viking Harbour
A maritime Viking environment brought to life on the basis of the archaeological finds made in the museum’s area. The Viking ships are either moored
in the harbour or in the boat house. It is possible to experience the atmosphere around a long fire in the Viking hall. Cinema, exhibition and museum
shop Tickets are available in the shop for fishing expeditions on the »Laurids Fahl«. |

Gåsemands Farm
Originally a heath land farm dating from the middle of the 19th Century, it has been carefully restored to the way it would have looked in the 1930’s.
There are exhibitions about geese and of the farm’s history and, in the barn there is an exhibition of the machines and the farmyard animals, geese,
hens, rabbits etc. In the cosy farm kitchen coffee is served made in the traditional »Madam Blå« pot. |

Bork Harbour
a pleasant fishing hamlet where the original small harbour from the 1960’s is preserved. There is a large marina and child-friendly beach to the north
of the harbour, while to the south there is a large very attractive area suitable for windsurfers. |

Stauning Battery
was built by the Germans during the Second World War as part of the Atlantic Wall. The building was architecturally identical to, for example, the
bunkers built in Normandy and four 19.6 cm guns from the First World War were mounted in it. |
